I will never use plain shaving cream again. I say with some certainty that if everybody tried this way to shave, they would never go back to canned shaving cream. You may want to try the brush (dry) as I found some a little scratchy .......JeromeI ordered a set and did not receive the brushIt’s ok. The bowl is too small for most soap pucks. I’m really not sure what the brush is made of, but it’s not stiff enough to be boar bristles. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, so far it’s fine.This works like it's supposed to, the only issue is finding pieces of soap small enough to fit in the little bowl I use the dregs of bar soap when it gets too small to use, and I've started cabbaging extra bars from hotels, they are about the right size. The brush works great, the little stand is convenient and the little razor holder is good.Dislike the parts seem useIt's pretty good, the badger brush loses some hairs but it is soft, the bowl is nothing special, just a plastic bowl, it gets the job done! I like the stand, my razor is kinda tall so it hits the bottom, but it's nice.Update on the stand. It gets rusty.Haven’t had a chance to use this yet,but was disappointed the dish was cheap plastic and not ceramic.The brush seems to shed quite a bit and doesn’t seem as high quality as other badger hair brushes. The design is compact, which I appreciate. The bowl is plastic.
