Bought this for the dual voltage as my usual Revlon dryer can’t go to Europe with me. I prefer a blowbrush to manipulating a hair dryer AND brush so dual voltage was the main deciding factor.I read the mixed reviews that commented that the brush was good, didn’t work at all or failed to work after one or more use. So I was on the fence when I ordered. And the price was way more than what I paid for my Revlon.On a 10 day trip to France, it took about 10 minutes longer to style my hair but worked ok and didn’t overheat. The heat control switch didn’t seem to give a distinct click but I got used to the positions. The handle was a little big for my hand. And the blowbrush took up a fair amount of real estate in my 22” suitcase. I wish that it was smaller in both height and diameter.Bottom line: it worked.I bought this dual voltage brush to use while in Europe. It was the closest I found to the Revlon brush but in dual voltage. I wish Revlon gave you an option and sold it in both dual and single voltage, but they don’t. Any how after a lot of research and reading tons of reviews I purchased this Plavogue brush. I am so glad that I did! After using the brush for a month I am sold on this product. I actually decided to continue to use this brush instead of the revlon. I like that the bristles are stronger and feel like it takes less time to do my hair. Just buy it…you won’t regret it!I bought this to take to Ireland. I go to Europe once or twice a year and hair tools are an issue. I bought this and using someone’s advice on here I used my own adapter and it works really well. It does get hot but so does the revlon. I use a glove for hair tools and it’s fine. Very happy with this so far. Drys my hair as well as mine back home. I have hair above the shoulder just below my jaw by the way.Quality product but larger than I expected since I found it when searching for a dryer for traveling in Italy. Worked well. No issues with the electrical adapter. Other than the fact it took up quite a bit of room in my suitcase it worked wellTiene la electricidad DUAL, que fue lo que yo buscaba. I added the appropriate plug adapter and was delighted I could style my hair as easily abroad as I do at home. The automatic voltage sensor is a great bonus. Better if you are already familiar with styling your hair with this type if styling tools—it’s not for everyone. Note: I have been happily using a similar, domestic styling tool for 3-4 years.Needed a drying brush for a Europe trip, since my wife’s current one doesn’t support 220v. She seemed to like it and it worked well for the 2 weeks we were in Italy and Greece.Positive aspects: Quick drying! It only took me about 10 minutes to dry & style my hair. Easy to use. No detailed instructions needed. Worked well throughout Europe, with the adapter.Negative aspects: Takes up a rather large amount of space if you are trying to travel light (one checked bag 22", and one carry on). I would appreciate a longer tip that I could hold on too I don't burn my fingers.The brush was great for what I needed it for - made my hair so silky and shiny, no need for straighteners after.. BUT.. the second time I used it it BADLY surged my electrics, the plug pin burned black, melted the socket and is SO dangerous. Sparks and everything.I would advise that you do NOT use the adapter it comes with (it is an EU / toothbrush charger plug which you need a 3 pin / UK adapter for) and use or buy your own one.Since had to contact Amazon for a refund.This is a beautiful hair styler. It is quite large but it is perfect for medium to long hair. I bought it to use in Croatia, but as I ended up cancelling my holiday, I can't say definitively if it works abroad or not. However, I would think that it would, as it is a high quality item, and comes with adapter plug for Europe, Britain/Ireland & USA.I have extremely frizzy, curly hair....and once I dry my hair with this dryer, I can get up to 3 days, before washing again. It can also be used on dry hair to touch up your style in between.The roller I had was to hard on my fizzy hair day.i wanted to be easy on my falling hair. Tried this with dryer on and was better and reduced time to do my hair fast ,saved timeThat it works quickly and efficient ! It’s a 1 in 2 brush and hair dryer, so everything is done all at once.Rubbish
