Some might like this brush, but if your hair is thick, the bristle length is about ¼ inch shorter than my regular half circle brush, so all your hair does not fit on it. It also is huge, although not heavy because of a hollow center, but it is almost a 3 inch diameter so it is really big for any styling brush I have used.Personally I found it awkward to use and irksome that it would not brush all the way down to my scalp to `grab' all the hair.It is a very nice looking brush, however I did not find it practical to use.bristles are softer and shorter than my Pearson paddle brush. This round brush is fine for a blow out.It's definitely better than other boar brushes.Pros:1. made of one piece. So there are no grooves for your hair to get stuck in.2. Grabs hair well.Cons:1. heavy2. Grabs hair too well. Hard to unroll.This is a very nice brush, excellent quality. However, would like it if the bristles were a little bit longer to catch the hair better. But I make it work. Have to use a comb to lift my hair and then use the round brush to do the curling.I guess I just expected something amazing considering the price. I am not someone that is an expert at blow drying my hair and I actually had a more difficult time with this brushI love the way it leaves my extra long hair,it feels so smooth and shinny after brushing it.I recommend it to anyone with extra long hair!!The size of the brush is perfect but the bristles fall out non stop when in use. If you clean the hair out f the brush, stand over a trash can because they will fall out at an alarming rate. I am very disappointed in this purchase.The minute I got this, bristles were falling out all over.. Over 100 bristles fell onto counter and in a few days, i am guessing there will be none left. Really poor quality for price. I will be sending this back.
