I rarely write reviews, but this brush is a game changer for me. I have owned a larger model for over a decade and it’s in great shape with daily use and abuse. Its not for every hair type. It may not be a good choice for fine, delicate hair. I have thick, wavy, ‘big’ hair. If not properly styled, it can get pretty out of control when exposed to even the slightest humidity. It can take forever to dry, even with a Dyson blow dryer. But the Phillips MV has long, boar bristles that grab the hair, and keeps a grip on it until you’re done unwinding the round brush. It cuts the time in half and gives a smooth, soft look from root to end. No flyaways or frizz. I just walked my friend in the UK through purchasing one. Same unruly hair type as mine.
